Selected through a competitive application to lead campus donor recruitment for a national marrow and stem cell registry, broadening HLA diversity across the donor pool — applied work that builds on her research on racial disparities in stem-cell transplant access.

• Plan, staff, and execute 10 donor drives this semester, targeting 50 registrations per drive across four hour-long shifts.
• Coordinate a team of 25 ambassadors and volunteers, recruiting additional drive staffing through partnerships with student organizations across campus.
• Lead a Sickle Cell Awareness Month drive, partnering with an established community 5K to reach donor groups underrepresented on the registry.

Supported Vertex's US Public Affairs team through a major shift in Medicaid policy, as new federal work requirements threatened coverage for patients with cystic fibrosis, sickle cell disease, and kidney disease.

• Built and maintained a 50-state tracker of "medically frail" exemption definitions under Medicaid work requirements — adopted by Public Affairs to flag where CF and sickle cell coverage was most at risk.
• Synthesized the CMS interim final rule into an executive briefing delivered to ~40 US Public Affairs staff, including Director- and VP-level leadership.
• Authored a patient-facing policy one-pager translating eligibility, required actions, and enforcement deadlines into plain language for CF, sickle cell, and kidney disease advocacy organizations — view the one-pager.
• Tracked ~500 state bills across the policy and reimbursement portfolio, logging status, Vertex's position, and priority tier.
• Designed a physician fellowship engagement framework for Market Development, retained by the team.

• Organized clinical trial datasets across histological staining, laser prototype testing, and machine learning teams, structuring data to inform research decisions.
• Presented findings to ~35 researchers and clinicians in weekly lab meetings, connecting technical results to patient experience and device adoption.

Investigated racial disparities in cancer treatment and genetics — the origin of a focus on health equity that grew into a fuller literature review on hematopoietic cell transplantation access.
